From embedded systems to agentic AI engineering
Ralf Junghanns is co-founder and Head of Data & AI at MPOWR IT. His career spans embedded systems in the photovoltaic industry, ten years of platform and frontend development for a scientific SaaS application at TU Dresden, and modern MLOps and AI engineering for enterprise clients.
As a developer, architect and team lead, he helps organisations keep complex software systems maintainable, operate reliable ML pipelines in production and enable teams to use modern AI-assisted development practices. His project experience ranges from groundwater modelling and asset-management platforms to machine-learning applications for logistics, retail and industry.
Technically, he combines modern frontend and backend development with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD. In AI, his focus is on production-ready ML pipelines, MLOps and agentic systems.
