We supported the recruitment process to expand the software team and introduced best practices for meetings and task management, including a Kanban board and the two-person rule. We visualised the software system to manage complexity and drive project progress. We provided training on MQTT data flow for IoT edge applications in battery storage systems and helped develop a modular Go architecture for configurable edge applications that incorporates ADRs and fitness functions. We also researched and supported asynchronous data synchronisation for edge-to-customer and edge-to-data-warehouse streams to ensure reliable observability and fault-tolerant transmission.

We designed and implemented the backend using Python Flask, uWSGI, Nginx, Traefik, PostgreSQL and Redis, following modular monolithic principles with CQRS and event sourcing. We processed e-book content to enable a speech-recognition-based search algorithm. Using Flutter and Dart, we implemented the iOS and Android apps with a new user interface and new features. We developed OpenAPI-based RESTful APIs for user and content management and set up an IAM system using a customised Keycloak instance. We also defined the server infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible and Docker for deployment on the Hetzner Cloud.
